China-focussed learning
I lived, worked and travelled in China for 10 amazing years. This provided me with first hand insight and experience working with Chinese educators, Chinese students and the Chinese education system. My six years working in an international school helped develop my understanding of third-culture kids, and cross-cultural interactions. My four years working with local schools and with the Chaoyang Education Department provided key insights into Chinese culture, the Chinese education system and working interculturally.
I design learning experiences for educators and students based around China and Chinese language and culture. I have designed school programs for visiting international Chinese students to better understand Australian culture, pre-departure to China programs for both students and educators and PD sessions for visiting delegations from China.
